A wounding left-hander with solid shots square of the wicket, Colin Munro has earned a notoriety for being one of New Zealand’s most dependable large hitters. Having made his universal presentation in 2012, Munro was in and out of the constrained overs groups, until he hit a competition-beating 366 runs at a striking pace of 175 in the 2015-16 Georgie Pie Super Smash. That run of structure earned him a relentless T20 put in New Zealand’s top request.
He immediately supported his place. His 14-ball 50 runs against Sri Lanka at Eden Park was the quickest by a New Zealand batsman in T20s. All the more brisk runs against Pakistan in the accompanying arrangement saw him accept the No. 3 spot in New Zealand’s 2016 World T20 crusade.

Munro made his top of the line debut in 2006, yet didn’t generally have a major effect in the more drawn out type of the game till the 2011-12 season when he scored a century and three fifties for Auckland. Next season he improved, scoring three centuries in six innings, including a hurricane unbeaten 269 off 252 balls against Wellington. He was compensated with a call-up to the New Zealand squad for the visit to South Africa and played in three T20 internationals toward the beginning of that visit. He made his Test debut before long, in the second Test at Port Elizabeth.
